Question 61 from Markus: Oliver, do you know the LOL²A-Principle by René Egli? He says: IS = SHOULD. But IS cannot be SHOULD (time, future, goals). IS is ALL and that is absolute SILENCE and no time-related equation… quite something, right?

Oliver: Dear Markus, I haven't read the book resp. the two books, but I have informed myself about them somewhat. Apparently the first book was written under the assumption that time exists (= dualistic view), as the author writes at the beginning of the second book. This assumption, which has triggered also your question, has apparently lead to many misunderstandings that the author has tried to clear up with his second book, where he now assumes that time does not exist (= non-dualism). The second part should therefore basically no longer differ from the content of Satsang.ch, as Satsang.ch as well is based on non-dualism. I would recommend you, however, to contact the author directly if you have any concrete questions.

Question 62 from Thomas: Oliver, what is total acceptance? What happens in the head/body? Somehow the mind always interferes when a situation or past occurrences or illness are to be accepted. I feel that is in its nature. As soon as I get involved in something, the mind starts to rattle. So when does one accept something completely?

Oliver: Dear Thomas, a key word that I want to give you as a mental game concerning perfect acceptance, is "inclusiveness". And I mean "perfect inclusiveness", without exception. If you apply this concept to "Acceptance", including every single thing that emerges, you will see that total acceptance has nothing to do with accepting a situation. Even if your mind cannot accept a situation, it can by all means accept that it doesn't accept the situation. The mind can also accept that it cannot accept not accepting a situation… You can weave this thought on and on, for there is always a person who thinks he or she has to accept something. Your mind will therefore never be able to accept something totally. Perfect acceptance and thereby perfect "inclusiveness" is here when the person has disappeared, the person who thinks he/she must accept something. Then eternity and the NOW melt into Oneness. Regarding the mind: When the mind is busy with something, it starts "rattling" by nature (= starts functioning), because that is its purpose and this is utterly helpful in daily life. With a mind correctly used you can create anything. But liberating yourself with your mind you cannot, for you cannot "beam out" your "you" yourself. Therefore I always say that you can tranquilly stop torturing your mind with this kind of questions. Question 62 from Thomas: Oliver, what is total acceptance? What happens in the head/body? Question 63: Oliver, please help our minds: Are we actors in the movie of life, or the movie itself, or the screen or only the spectators?

Oliver: You are all actors in the film as well as spectators in the movie theatre. You are the screen, you are the movie, the projector and the light. But you are also the movie seat. And you are the popcorns. No part of this cinematographic experience is separate from the other. Enjoy this lively movie occurrence, because that's what it is here for.

Question 64: Oliver, you say: All is ONE. But I can't be an object, can I?

Oliver: When, according to my concept, I say that ALL IS ONE, this I is logically also ONE. It doesn't matter whether you picture your "I" as an object or as whatever else. Also your vision of an "I" is ONE.

Question 65 from Carmen: Oliver, who of the two of us is God?

Oliver: Dear Carmen, as per the concept, whereby all is ONE (Being, the Ocean, Oneness, God), we are both ONE and therefore ONE with God, the same way waves are one with the ocean, even if a wave thinks it is separate from the other waves and from the ocean. Everything that happens in the world of duality is an illusion, that appears to occur IN God, in the time- and spaceless non-dual, and the small identified "I" is trapped by this illusion. Well, this has been the spiritual-philosophic concept for your mind. It can believe it or not: it doesn't matter, as it is not a question here of belief or non-belief. The wave can believe whatever it wants: It is free anyway :-)
